India has established Asias biggest auto testing track in Pithampur of Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh State. The center was inaugurated by India’s Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries Mr. Babul Supriyo on 28th January, 2018.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended and addressed by automobile industry leaders in India like Managing Director of Mahindra and Mahindra Pawan Goenka and Chief Operating Officer of Eicher and Volvo Company RS Sachdeva.
The newly established largest auto testing track of Asia will is expected to boost research and development activities in the sector of automobile in India. Below are main points:
Total 4000 acres land has been allotted by State Government for Asia’s largest auto testing track. The track is created on 3000 acres and rest 1000 acres land can be utilized for the establishment of Automobile units by the industrialists. This will make Pithampur an automobile hub in future as companies will show interest in establishing their units in the area.
