Indian men Blind cricket team has won the Blind Cricket World Cup 2018 by defeating Pakistan blind cricket team in a thrilling encounter played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE on Saturday. With this Indian Team has retained its title.
In the final, India won the toss and elected to field first. Pakistan set India a target of 308 runs with a loss of eight wickets in the 40 overs game.
Chasing the 308 run target in allotted 40 overs, India started well and scored 111 runs in first 15 overs by the loss of one wicket only. Then after loosing two quick wickets, it was Sunil Ramesh who steal the show as he played a knock of 93 runs. Sunil also performed well in bowling.
Indian chased the score in the 39th over. Sunil Ramesh for his brilliant all round performance was given Man of The Match Award.
Indian team remained unbeaten in the Blind Cricket World Cup 2018 also.
