Eligibility for BSF Constables (Male) Recruitment

All the details related to eligibility conditions like age eligibility, Educational qualifications required and other are given below in detail.

Age conditions:

A candidate age should be between 18 to 23 years on till the date of 1 August, 2019. Relaxation and other details are as per the central government rules, regulations related to SC, ST, OBC and other categories.

Educational Qualification and experience required for BSF Constable recruitment 2019:

A candidate need to have passed 10th from a recognized University or Board and also need to have experience in any of the below:

He should have at least two years of experience in the trade for which he is applying.

OR

One year certificate from Industrial training institute of Vocational institute, experience of one year in trade for which candidate has applied.

OR

Applicant should have diploma of two years from Industrial Training institute in the trade or in similar trade.

Mode of Selection for BSF Recruitment for male Constables (Tradesmen):

The candidates will have to go through following tests in get qualified for lates BSF vacancies

Under PET, candidates have to complete five Kilometers race. The time allotted to complete the race will be 24 minutes.

3. Documents Verification:

Applicants should bring all their original documents to get them checked.

4. Trade test:

After all above three rounds are cleared by the candidate the next is to test the candidate’s skills in the trade applied. It will be only qualifying in nature. A candidate can appear for only for that trade’s test for which he had applied at the time of filling the application form.

5.Written Examination:

There will be a written test for BSF recruitment of male Constables (Tradesmen). The written test will carry 100 marks and will be objective type. The candidates can use black or blue pen to fill the circles of OMR answer sheet.

Minimum qualifying marks in BSF male constable (Tradesmen) written exam:

Minimum marks to qualify in BSF written exam are different based on the categories of a candidate. For General Candidates and Ex-servicemen 35% marks are needed to be scored whereas SC/ST/OBC candidates need 33% marks to qualify written exam of BSF constable (Tradesmen) recruitment exam 2019.

1. General Knowledge/ General Awareness
2. Math (Up to elementary level)
3. English/Hindi basic test
4. Analytical aptitude or reasoning part (Special focus on patterns distinguation)
