Justin Trudeau India Visit : Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau India trip started today (Saturday) as he arrived at National capital Delhi. He was received by minister of state for agriculture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Justin will stay in India for a full week with a very busy schedule. The visit is seen as a big step to boost bilateral relations between the two countries.

During his tour Justin Trudeau and PM Modi are expected to focus on major areas like civil nuclear cooperation, space, defense, energy and education.
The focus will be on creation of good jobs and to strengthen the connections between the people of both countries. As per the statistics there are approximately 1.4 million people of Indian origin who are living in Canada and this visit is seen as good one for them.
Trudeau during his visit to India will meet with top businessmen of India at a meeting held in Mumbai. He will also be visiting key monuments of India like Taj Mahal in Agra, the Golden Temple in Amritsar and the Jama Masjid in New Delhi.

Pearls, organic chemicals, pharmaceutical products, textiles, bicycles and motorcycles are imported by Canada from India. Wheras India imports vegetables, paper, fertilizers, wood pulp, iron and steel and precious stones from Canada.
