Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh flagged off thirty Solid Waste Management vehicles on 11th October, 2017 with an aim to maintain the cleanliness in the state. Its a unique initiative of Andhra Pradesh government to achieve its Swach Andhra objective.
Speaking on the occasion, Naidu also told about the new establishment of greenery and landscaping corporation whose functions will be to ensure clean and transparent environment. Adding more to it, Naidu said that Andhra Pradesh has become the first state to construct Swach Andhra Corporation.

- Government will also use the machines for the cleaning of streets and pruning trees.
- Cities like Amaravati, Vijayawada, Guntur, Vizag, and Tirupati will be covered by this new venture.
- A part from Solid Waste Management vehicles Naidu also told about the future plans of government in order to maintain swachta in Andhra Pradesh by constructing 22 lakh toilets within next six months. He said that government is also planning to install LED lights metalled roads and drainages to have a clean environment.
