CTET Syllabus – Exam Pattern

First the syllabus of NCERT for class 1 – 5 is described. Then follow the next portion to get syllabus for class 6 to 8. The scheme of the exam will be objective in nature. You all know that the CTET 2019 exam dates are announced by the CBSC department. The exam is scheduled on the 7th of July, 2019. All applicants are given chance to apply for vacancies till last date i.e 5th March. More details can be collected from the link below.
Most of the students especially the new ones are excited to know that what will be Scheme of Examination. So for the help here is the explanation of the subject. As per the officials, there will be two papers conducted under CTET 2019 that is Paper I and II. These papers are based on the interest of the candidate. There are few scenarios of the examination.
First Scenario: If the candidate is willing to become teacher from class I to class V, he/she has only to appear for paper I. The Exam syllabus will also be according to that.
Second Scenario: Now if the applicant is only interested to teach the students from class VI to VIII then he/she will have to attend the paper II only.
Third Scenario: Now there will be candidates who will be preparing to become teacher from class I to eight class. Then in that case they have to appear for both the papers. Both level exams are compulsory to attend by them.
Important: Please keep in mind that the board has set minimum qualifying criteria to be able to become teacher. A candidate has to score minimum 60% marks in either of the exam. An eligibility certificate will only be issued to those candidates who are able to score the required minimum marks.

This exam number one is for those who want to get a job in teaching from class first to class fifth. After successfully qualifying the CTET 2019 Paper 1, the applicants are eligible to get employed in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS) and other government schools under center. We are going to explore detailed syllabus here. But, first have a look at the few things.
- The duration of the exam will be 2.30 hours.
- The paper 1 will comprise of five sections. All sections are compulsory to attend. Each section will carry 30 marks and 30 questions.
- The exam will be having total 150 questions and each question will carry one mark.
- The questions asked will be of multiple choice.
- The syllabus for written exam is set and prepared by the CBSC. It is updated on official website each year. Board reserves the right to make changes at any point. So keep checking official website for latest updates.

Syllabus of CTET Exam 1 and type of questions asked in the written Exam

Child Development & Pedagogy:
— Pay attention to educational psychology of teaching and learning from the age group between 6 to 11 years children. Try to understand their needs and characteristics. Know how to interact with these learners.
–Language | section: Try to be focused on proficiency related to the medium of instruction.
–Language || Section: This portion is to focus on the elements of language, communication and comprehension abilities.
–Mathematics and Environmental Studies: Here pay attention to concepts, problem-solving abilities and subject understanding. The difficulty level of the questions asked in paper | may be up to secondary school.

CTET Written Paper 2 Exam Pattern (Class 6 to 8)
If the applicants are seeking to work as a teacher for elementary classes in the schools, CTET Paper 2 is compulsory to attend. The exam will consist of four portions. All the sections are important to attempt. Below are the few important points related to the exam.
- The exam duration is of 2:30 hours.
- All sections are compulsory to attempt.
- The candidates will have option to choose the subject they want to teach.
- The paper 2 will also have 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs).
- Each question will carry one mark.
- Maximum marks which a student can get are 150.

CTET Exam Preparation Tips
First of all read the basics of all the concepts in Mathematics. Then you can go for the short tricks. The tricks will help you to solve problems in quick time. Even you can solve some of the problems within five seconds by imposing proper shortcut trick.
Revision of whole syllabus is very important. Try to complete the syllabus at least 15 to 20 days in advance. In that way you will have enough time to do the revision.
The best way to prepare for written exam is to follow the right books such as NCERT textbooks.
