Lucknow Jitesh Singh Deo Named Mr. India World 2017
Jitesh Singh Deo from Lucknow has won the prestigious Mr. India World 2017 title. With this win Jitesh Singh Deo has been confirmed to represent India at Mr World competition.

A new multicoloured logo of Kumbh Mela has been lauched by Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik. The world famous Kumbh Mela is scheduled to be held in Allahabad in January 2019.
The Kumbh Mela logo, contains temples, seers, a kalash (pitcher) and a ‘Swastika’. Mr. Naik lauched it at a function organized in the Raj Bhawan here on Tuesday evening.
Earlier in this month Kumbh Mela was recognised as intangible cultural heritage of humanity by the UNESCO. It was considered as the world’s largest peaceful gathering of pilgrims.

World youth champion Sachin Siwach was named as best youth boxer of the year by Asian Boxing Confederation. He was honoured with best boxer status after he won an online poll conducted by the continental body. He got 36.2% of the total votes in his category.
