Tai Tzu Ying Of Taiwan Wins Indonesian Masters- Beats Saina Nehwal In Final
Saina Nehwal was defeated by Tai Tzu Ying Of Taiwan in final of Indonesian Masters at Jakarta. With this Tai Tzu Ying won Indonesian Masters. This was the tenth time the two players met in the final and Tai Tzu has won the match on nine occasions except one defeat in 2013 Swiss Open.
India Will Host Informal WTO Ministerial Gathering In New Delhi
India will be hosting the informal WTO Ministerial gathering in the month of March this year. The meeting will take place in New Delhi. The announcement in this regard was made by Deepak Jagdish Saksena during WTO ministerial gathering at Davos.
Himachal Pradesh CM Launches Shakti app for women safety
Shakti app was laucnhed in Himachal pradesh by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur to increase women safety in the state. Developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) of the Himachal Pradesh government, app comes with a panic button that sends message to police control room near to the app user. Also starts recording (Audio and video) after 20 seconds of button press.

Global hunger index report: India Ranks 100 among 119 Developing Countries “Serious Hunger Problem”
Despite of being Worlds second largest food producer, India ranks under Severe Hunger Levels in latest Global hunger index report. India was ranked at 100th position among 119 developing countries in report released by International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). India is also lagging behind from countries like North Korea and Iraq.

With an aim to increase the coverage of center govt relaxes Atal pension Yojana (APY).As per the new norms of APY, now the small finance banks and payment banks can also offer Atal Pension Yojana (APY) thus resulting in increase of scheme coverage. The norms relaxation was announced by Ministry of Finance.
