Foxconn Unit Writes Off Another $40 Million In Snapdeal Investment
FIH Mobile which is an subsidiary of Foxconn Technology Group written off an additional $40 million of its $200 million bet on Gurgaon-based online marketplace Snapdeal. The latest write-down comes about nine months after the Hong Kong-listed unit of the Apple iPhone manufacturer announced that it had undertaken an impairment loss of $160 million.
North Korea canceled high-level talks with South Korea

Shashank Manohar Elected as ICC Chairman for second term
BCCI president and current ICC Chairman Shashank Manohar has been re-elected for second term as chairman of International cricket council. He will be ICC chairman for a term of two years.
Shashank was elected unopposed. The governing body members were asked to vote for the person who should either be current or former ICC Director. Majority of members voted in favour of Shashank Manohar and thus was elected as independent director of ICC to serve for second term.
