An online chat service for answering general queries and doubts raised by tax payers related to direct tax issues has been launched by Income tax department.
How to Use Online Chat Service of Income Tax Department?
Users need to logon to www.incometaxindia.gov.in and on main page a window will be available displaying an icon stating ‘Live Chat Online- ask your query’. User can ask their queries as guest through this window by entering the e-mail Id. Users will also be having facility to email the entire chat to his/her own ids for future reference.
Hyderabad airport Ranked No. 1 in 5 to 15 million category by ACI
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) of Hyderabad was ranked number one in the Airports Council International’s service quality in the category of 5 to 15 million passengers per annum.
The Ranking was prepared on a scale ranging from 1 to 5. As per the survey conducted by ASQ, Hyderabad airport shown significant improvements from its score 4.4 in 2009 to 4.9 in 2016.
USA to Provide EMALS technology to India for aircraft carriers
The United States has agreed to provide crucuial EMALS (Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System) technology to Indian navy. EMALS technology will be used by Indian Navy’s future aircraft carrier as informed by Trump administration to India.
India had requested to US for the Electromagnetic Launch System (EMLAS) during the time when Obama was the president of USA by sending a request letter. EMALS technology is built by General Atomics for aircraft carrier planned by the Indian Navy.
Maharashtra Government Announced release of Rs. 4000 Crore Under farm loan weaving scheme
Maharashtra government has announced the release of Rs. 4000 Crore for farm loan weaving scheme. This amount has been released under the first phase of the total Rs. 34,000 to be released. The Disbursal of first phase will be covering total 8 lakh of farmer of the state as the initiatives of the state government taken to invest in the agriculture sector.
IIT Bombay top ranked Indian institute in QS Asia University Rankings 2018
In most recent Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings 2018, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has emerged as the only Indian institute to better its performance among the best 100 universities.
The top positioned Indian institute in the QS Asia University Rankings, IIT Bombay saw its best position at 34th rank over the last three years since its 46th rank in 2016. IIT Bombay was positioned 179th in the QS World University Rankings earlier this year, demonstrating a great change in its 2017 performance by 40 places.
