Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) has appointed Dilip Chenoy new Director General of FICCI on 22/01/2018. Earlier Chenoy had been working as managing director and CEO of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) from where he resigned in 2015. He has also worked as DG of Society of Indian Automobile Manufactures (Siam) as well as deputy director general of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
As FICCI DG Dilip Chenoy will handle day-to-day administrative affairs of the body whereas all other overall operations will be taken care by secretary-general Sanjaya Baru.
Mr. Arvind Prasad was previous director general of FICCI. Arvind got retired in 2016 two years back and since then the DG of FICCI position was lying vacant.
