Dubai International Airport continuous to be ranked at number one to become world’s busiest airport for international travel. As per the statistics released by Dubai Airport department, 88.2 million passengers came to the Airport in last year 2017.
The number of international passengers received last year is higher as compared to previous year 2016. In 2016 total 83.6 million passengers were recorded. With this passenger growth pace, Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths expecting to cross 90.3 million passengers in 2018.
In 2014, Dubai International airport had pushed down London Heathrow to become world’s busiest international airport. Since then, it is continuously retaining first position.
In terms of overall traffic, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Georgia is at number one position. Below are the important terms related to traffic on airports:
