Prime Minister Narendra modi today laid the foundation stones of AIIMS and IIIT in Himachal Pradesh at Bilaspur in the presence of Governor of Acharya Dev Vrat, CM Virbhadra Singh and Union Minister JP Nadda at a programme.
In his speech PM Narendra Modi said that opening of AIIMS and IIIT in Himachal Pradesh will provide many benefits to people such as health, medical education and employment benefits.
AIIMS hospital to be build in Himachal Pradesh will be constructed at a cost of Rs.1350 Crore. It will be having capacity of 750 beds. PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of IIIT at Una (Himachal Pradesh).
Along with laying foundation stone of AIIMS and IIIT in Himachal Pradesh, PM also inaugurated a Steel Processing Unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) at Kangra’s Kandrori district.
