The in form Indian player G Sathiyan has become highest ranked Indian player in latest International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) ranking. Sathiyan has surpassed Sharath Kamal who was earlier top Indian player in ITTF previous ranking. Sathiyan is currently at 49th position whereas Sharath Kamal is at 51st spot in ITTF latest ranking. Indian Men and Women Making to Top 100
Sathiyan has got this achievement because of his good performance in recent months. He was even nowhere in the top 100 few months ago. Other Indian men in the top 100 list are Soumyajit Ghosh (58), Harmeet Desai (60), Sanil Shetty (68) and Anthony Amalraj (87). For Indian women, it is Manika Batra at top by claiming 62nd place. After Manika, it is Mouma Das and Madhurika Patkar occupying 74th and 81th place respectively.
Under 18 Boys and Girls Making to top 100
In Under 18 boys, Manav Thakkar is top Indian placed at 18th place, he is followed by Manush Shah and Snehit Surravajjula at 47th and 61st place respectively. In junior boys section, Jeho Himnakulhpuingheta is at No. 52 followed by Payas Jain at 74 position and Yashansh Malik at position No. 85.
On the other hand in girls under 18 section, Archana Kamath is top Indian. Archana baged 34th spot and along with her two others who made it to top 100 are Selenadeepthi Selvakumar (95) and Yashini Sivashankar (99).
Junior Boys and Girls who made to Top 100 in ITTF Ranking
In junior boys category, it was Jeho Himnakulhpuingheta who occupied 52nd placed to be top Indian in this category. After Jeho, Payas Jainand Yashansh Malik have been at position No.74 and 85 respectively.
As far as junior girls category is concerned, its Diya at 21st. Other two are Anusha Kutumbale (63) and Vanshika Bhargava sitting at positon No.70.
