In a latest Gender Vulnerability Index (GVI) prepared by Plan India, Goa has got the the no.1 place whereas Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are at the bottom. Goa was followed by Kerala and Mizoram to occupy second and third place respectively. national capital Delhi was placed at 24th in the survey by the independent child development organisation.

Health Dimensions for Women: Bihar was also worse in terms of women’s health whereas Kerala, followed by Tamil Nadu and Sikkim occupied first, second and third place respectively.
Education dimension for women: Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Punjab were three top states in terms of education for women whereas National capital Delhi was state with worst performance in terms of education for women.
Poverty Dimension in Females: Bihar once again was placed at bottom in poverty dimension for women. Manipur and Mizoram states occupied first and second positions. Tamil Nadu was got third place in the ranking.
Protection measures for Women: Goa was the best state followed by Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir. Uttar Pradesh was placed at the end as far as ladies security is concerned.
