Uttar Pradesh Government led by CM Yogi Yogi Adityanath has declared that the double exgratia amount for police officials who dies on duty will be paid by the UP government. CM Yogi made this announcement while speaking at Police Commemoration Day Parade in Lucknow.
Main Take Aways from double exgratia amount for police :
Current exgratia amount that was paid to police officials martyred on duty was 20 Lakh which will now be made 40 Lakhs.
Number of commendable medals for all the units of Police have also been increased from 200 to 950.
CM reminded about the state Government’s commitment to make the state crime and corruption free and called for a campaign to achieve this. He further added that there is need to increase the sense of security amount the people of state especially in women.
Work of Special Task Force (STF) and Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) was also admired by Yogi Adityanath in his speech given on Police Commemoration Day Parade in Lucknow
