Haryana state is working on developments and concentrating on its young populations to make the state ready for future development. That is why state has now launched e-learning app ‘Meri e-Pustak’ for students making them more prone to digitalization. The app has been developed by Haryana State Council of Educational Research and Training. It has also started testing of another app which is developed for training teacher online.
Speaking on the launch of e-learning app ‘Meri e-Pustak’, Haryana Govt additional chief secretary (school education) Dheera Khandelwal stated that the app contains all educational e-resources as well as study material in various forms such as textbooks, audio, video, periodicals, and a variety of other printable and non-printable materials.
Haryana has been the first Indian state to be recognized by NCERT to have developed an in-house programme with ‘Meri e-Pustak’ of SCERT.
The programme is available to students, teachers, educators and parents. All of these can access ebooks using various technology platform like smartphones, tablets and through the web on laptops and desktops (as Flipbook). Through Meri e-Pustak, students and users can carry as many books as their device supports.
