A part from bad relations with China, Hong Kong is still world’s most visited city by international travellers in the recent report of top 100 city destinations that put a light on the tourism growth in Asian region.
The report was released by market research firm Euromonitor International. According to firm this year number of travellers to visit Hong Kong is expected to reach 25.7 million.
However there is a little decrease of 3.2% in the number of international travellers to the Hong Kong as compared to last year due to tense situations created by China this year as Beijing has sought to exercise more control on the territory.
As per the Euromonitor’s expectations number of international visitors will again go up and will be reaching to a milestone of 45 million by 2025.
On the other hand Bangkok – Capital of Thailand shown an increase in number of international visitors due to its targeted tour first time tour packages from China.
