Indian junior boxers have got top place at the fifth International Sven Lange Memorial Tournament to finish as overall champions in the German city of Schwerin. India remained at top with six gold medals, four silver and one bronze medal.
Below are the names of Indian Gold Medalists in the Boxing Championship:
Bhavesh Kattamani (52kg), Vijeydeep (63kg), Akshay (60kg), Ish Pannu (70kg), Lakshay Chahar (80kg) and Vinit (75kg)
Silver medal winner in the Championship:
Anil (48kg), Swapnil Shinde (50kg), Aman (54kg) and Satender
It was Aakash who won the bronze medal for India in 66 Kg weight category. It was gold medal winner boxer Bhavesh Kattamani who picked up the trophy for India. The award of “Best team” was also given to Indian team.
