AYUSH Minister Shripad Yesso Naik inaugurated India’s first advanced Homeopathy Virology lab at Kolkata. The lab is established at a total expenditure of Rs. 8 Crore. It is the first lab in India where basic and advance level homeopathic researches will be done related to deadly diseases such as influenza, Japanese encephalitis, dengue, chikungunya, and swine flu.
West Bengal is well known for its practices in Homeopathy Science and this new lab will be a milestone in advancing the researches and practices in this particular area.
The newly developed Homeopathy Virology lab will develop new drugs and technologies to overcome challenges faced wile curing emerging viral diseases.
