It was dual celebration for India in Kabaddi as both Men and women Kabaddi teams of India won Asian Kabaddi Championships 2017 in championships held at Gorgan, Iran. Indian Men Kabaddi team beat Pakistan kabaddi team with a margin of 36-22 whereas women kabaddi team of India beat South Korea 42-20 in their final.
For men it was once again star player Ajay Thakur who led from the front in the men’s final and helped India to get a comfortable win.
In women team put pressure on their opponents right from the start and never let them up. Koreans gave away too many touch points to the raiders and Indian Women Kabaddi team registered a comfortable win.
