Kenneth Juster has sworn in as new US Ambassador to India. Vice President Mike Pence believed that Juster will be able to build more stronger partnership with India which will be beneficial for people of India and USA.Kenneth Juster will be taking place of Indian–American Richard Verma who had resigned from the post after Donald Trump became 45th President of the US. The position was vacant since January 20.
Kenneth Juster nomination was confirmed by US senate unanimously on November 2. Juster founded and served as the US Chair of the US-India High Technology Cooperation Group, and was one of the key architects of the ‘Next Steps in Strategic Partnership initiative’ between the US and India.
