Mithali Raj New record – Indian women cricket team captain and stylist bats-woman Mithali Raj added another record to her name while playing in her 192nd ODI match against England in ICC Women’s Championship ODI series. Mithali has now became the most capped player in women’s ODI cricket by participating in 192nd WODI match of her career. She surpassed Former England captain Charlotte Edward record who has played in 191 Women ODI matched. Her another teammate and fast bowler of Indian women team of cricket Jhulan Goswami is in third place in the list.
Mithali Raj made her debut to WODI team of India two decades back in June 1999. Her debut ODI match was against Ireland where she scored a century. Since then she has been an integral part of Indian cricket team and confirmed her place in the team. It was because of her magnificent performances for India that she was made captain of Women team.
