On the occasion of World Radio Day, India launched its first online radio station “Radio Umang”. This first Indian online radio station can be listened through app or web streaming. It will be operational for 24 hours and will be available over 60 countries worldwide.
Radio Umang has been developed by Neeraj Tyagi founder of Quick Call which was later sold to Navigant. The online radio station of India has claimed to become popular very quickly. It has reached 50,000 listeners in just one month period. App of the station is also going great with more than 40,000 downloads so far.
Currently Radio Umang app is available on Google Play Store for download but soon it will also be made available on Appstore.
