Railway Recruitment Exam Dates 2018
Railway Recruitment 2018 exam will be conducted in two stages which are : First Stage CBT and second stage CBT. First stage CBT is expected to be conducted in the month of April-May 2018. Then dates for second stage CBT will be finalized after the qualified candidates list is prepared based on first Stage CBT. Age limits:

Educations qualifications
Educational qualifications for Railway Recruitment 2018 are different as there are two different posts. As per the RRB official notification 2018, aspirants who want to apply for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts must be holding a hold Degree, Diploma and HSC (10+2). Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering , Mechanical Engineering ,Automobile Engineering with the combination of various streams in the respective Engineering Traits.
For Technician Grade III Signal and Technician Grade III Telecommunication posts, candidates must have passed out 12th class with Physics and Maths.
RRB recruitment 2018 selection process
Selection process for Railway recruitment 2018 will be a four step procedure for Assistant Loco Pilot vacancies. RRB department will conduct computer based tests. Then Computer Based Aptitude Test will be taken and finally Document Verification will be done.
- First stage CBT – This test will be conducted Tentatively in the months of April and May, 2018.
- Second Stage CBT – This second level exam for latest railway vacancies 2018 will be informed later on at official website of RRB.

Railway Recruitment 2018 Admit Card
All candidates after successfully applying for Railway Recruitment 2018 Exam will be issued railway recruitment board admit card for first and second stage of CBT (Computer Based Test). Please not that RRB Admit Card for both Stage 1 CBT and Stage 2 CBT will be issued separately. Only those applicants who clears/qualify Stage 1 CBT will be allowed Admit Card for Stage 2 CBT of Railway Recruitment 2018. Admit cars will be available to download two to three weeks before the exam.

The admit card for Railway Recruitment Board 2018 exam will be issued to candidates in two phases:

Railway Recruitment 2018 Application Fee
The Online Application for Railway Recruitment is started from February 3, 2018 and will be open to apply till last date 5th March 2018. Candidates need to pay application fee for latest railway vacancies as per their applicable category. General (UR) and OBC candidates must have to pay Rs. 500/- as application fee for Railway Recruitment 2018. The fee is half for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ PWDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically backward class. They all are required to pay Rs. 250/- as application fee.
Railway Recruitment 2018 Exam Pattern
According to RRB, Exam Pattern for Railway Recruitment 2018 will be comprising of two stages CBT or Computer Based Test(CBT-1 & CBT-2) which will be common for both RRB Assistant Loco Pilots vacancies and Technician posts. Then another test will be organized named Computer Based Aptitude Test which will only be taken for ALP vacancies and then finally Document Verification. Computer Based Aptitude Test ( Only for Candidates who have opted for ALP)
Above two tests are compulsory for all candidates applying for RRB recruitment 2018 but this test is applicable to those candidates only who have opted for Assistant Loco Pilot posts in Indian Railways. More details about the test are given below:
RRB recruitment department will shortlist candidates from above two tests and will call only selected candidates for Computer Based Aptitude Test. The test will be only qualifying in nature. Every ALP candidate needs to score at least 42 mark. No relaxation will be provided in this test for reserved category candidates.
Railway Recruitment 2018 Result
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will declare result for examinations according to the exam stages. Result of Stage 1 and Stage 2 CBT will be released after the examination for the same has been conducted. Firstly result for Stage 1 CBT first is to be declared and candidates who qualify will be permitted to attend give Stage 2 of Railway Recruitment 2018 Exam.
