Moving a step further towards digitization, Rajasthan becomes first Indian state to call online attention adjournment motions and proposals to state government.
The system was inaugurated by Speaker Kailash Meghwal by sending a call for an attention motion to the state government with a click of mouse. The new system is expected to make working fast by saving time. It will also help in reducing the use of paper and will save the labour cost.
Legislators will now be having much better facilities to bring attention to urgent public issues. Exchange of information among various departments will also become easy with new this online motions calling system.
As per the statement given by Indu Gupta – National Informatics Centres state information officer, “help desk” has been set up at the secretariat to provide assistance to state government staff.
