Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD) has launched SHe-box an online complaint management system for women working in both Public and private sector. Its a system through which women can file complaint against any kind of sexual harassment done by any one at the workplace. Get more information below:
The online complaint system for women was earlier launched in July 2017 for women only working in public sector only. But, Now it has been extended and women private sector has also been included under it to ensure more safety for women at workplace.
SHe-box has been launched to implement Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act (SH Act), 2013 effectively.
Women need an e-mail id to file a complaint against sexual harassment at work. The complaint submitted through online SHe-box system directly goes to the concerned authority which has all powers to take strict action against this illegal activity.
Under the new system those women who have already filed a complaint against sexual harassment in written can also use the SHe-box system to file their complaint online.
