Private sector lender HDFC Bank today announced that it will launch HDFC SmartUp Zones all over the country in 30 main cities. The decision to setup SmartUp Zones is taken with aim to serve entrepreneurs of the country.
Main points of HDFC SmartUp Zones: These SmartUp Zones will be launched at more than 65 branches of HDFC Bank in selected cities which will include tier II and III locations.
There will be specially trained staff at those SmartUp Zones. The staff will suggest tailor-made banking and advisory solutions to entrepreneurs.
These SmartUp Zones will also be providing opportunities to entrepreneurs to showcase the products to bank customers.
Recently, the bank had also declared the launch of Industry Academia in IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee and IIM Ahmedabad to mentor start-ups along with the institutions’ entrepreneurship and incubation cells.
