Need of 24 hour helpline for students in Tamil Nadu?
The decision to set up such helpline was taken by education department of Tamil Nadu as the new and effective way to address the students problems mainly the stress caused by exams in students. It was observed that students and their guardians don’t have enough and proper information and were not satisfied with the circulars pinned on school notice boards, or the reports announced in the media. So there was need to have such system.
