UP government brought a good news for all looking for jobs in Uttar Pradesh. There will be no interview round for government jobs in the state. The State cabinet led by Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in a meeting on 29th August,2017 decided to remove this second step of candidate selection for government jobs in all the non-gazetted posts of Group B, C and D categories. According to our sources, the decision has been influenced by the center government’s agenda to remove the interview round from non-gazetted posts in government sector coming under Group B, C and D.
Why UP government removed Interview Round?
The reason behind the decisions to make the selection procedure more transparent. It has been observed in the past that most of the corruption while selecting a candidate for the government jobs happens at the time of face to face interview. So the aim of new decision is to stop it which will help to reduce the corruption a lot.
A part from above important decision taken by the Uttar Pradesh cabinet meeting there were other major decisions taken which are:-
- Minimum price for common Paddy variety was increased from Rs.1,550 to 1,590 Rupees per quintal for A-grade quality.
- The cabinet also decided to increase the boundaries of Aligarh Nagar Nigam and boundary of nagar panchayat BHawari in Kaushambi district.
- A Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan will be constructed to facilitate pilgrims going for Kailash Mansarover yatra Sindhiu Darshan Yatra and Chaardhaam Yatra.
