CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has introduced Uttrakhand state’s first city gas Distribution system (CGD) at Rudrapur’s Udham Singh Nagar district. Here are some specification related to City Gas Distribution (CGD) in Uttrakhand.
This is India’s eight City Gas Distribution (CGD) system with a length of 500 kilometres. It has targeted to be completed till year 2020.
The City Gas Distribution project at Rudrapur is expected to be provide employment to 2,000 people. It will be set up at a budget of Rs. 200 Crore.
The project will be covering Kashipur to Rudrapur /Pantnagar in Uttarakhand. It will have total of ten CNG stations. The places of 10 CNG stations setup are as under:-
- One at Jaspur
- One atBazpur
- One atKhatima and
- One at Kiccha
- Two at Kashipur
- Three in Rudrapur
Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat also participated in 9th CGD bidding round show organised by Petroleum and Natural Regulatory Authority Board.
